Missing in Action

O.K. guys I know I have not been able to make the last few meetings and I am very sorry. I was in AZ for a photo convention and on Monday I was shooting a fundraiser (1700 photos in 7 hours!). I promise to be there this coming Monday. I have a wonderful video for you guys to watch that I thought was really inspiring. Hopefully you will like it as much as I do. Or I may try and get a guest speaker to come in and talk to everyone.

I know we talked about doing photoshop, but the program is not loaded ont he computers yet. If everyone bugs Mr. C and Ms. Herrmann about loading photoshop onto the computer we may actually get to work on them this semester... don't tell them I told you to bug them.

Anyways, I am not sure we will have time to go over photos in club this week, it will depend on what I have planned. So I will post them here and you guys can look at them and leave some comments.

Sorry About Yesterday!

Sorry about yesterday everyone. Jamie is out of town at a photo convention and there was a problem at home so I had to leave early to take care of it. Since next Monday is a holiday I think we are going to skip next week as well.
I want to set up a field trip to do either a sunset shoot or a night shoot from Coronado Island. So I want everyone to post a comment with what you want to do so that way we can figure it out. I also want to start setting up fieldtrips for each month. Keep checking out the cameras and I will get Photoshop working on all of the laptops. I will post a new assignment sometime this week so keep checking in.

Lets get excited about photoshop!

So we will hopefully start working in Photoshop sometime soon so I wanted to give you an example of what it can do. I used a photo taken by Coral to show you how photoshop will jazz up your photos. Hopefully Coral will not mind, I know he is kinda a purist and likes his photos right from his camera. Let's see if we can change his mind...
